Friday Night Lights!

Time to write reports on all my students again and I am all about looking for reasons for a break! I have all sorts of strategies for my self... write 5 and then we can have a break.... I know a bit disturbing. I've never done report cards like this where it is a narrative on each child for each subject area.. At times I wonder if writing my thesis was this painful.. It might be the fact that after I write them a member of my Kindergarten team checks them and then an administrator proofs them as well. I was more than happy to take a break and walk over to Kelli's house.. There is a path from my house to hers that takes about a half an hour to walk with a couple of beautiful farms along the way... After lots of laughter, homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate it was a Friday Night walk home. It had rained most of the day and the cool breeze and green views were peaceful... I thought about a new book I bought to write poetry with my class called, The Important Book. This poem, along with the cows were my friends on the way home.. The important thing about a daisy is that it is white. It is yellow in the middle, it has long white petals, and bees sit on it, it has a ticklish smell, it grows in green fields, and there are always lots of daisies.
