Detours and rest stops

A Saturday run around the lake--- My mind wanders as I look at my watch to see when I turn around.... If I could have any house on the lake which one would it be.  Today it is a simple one with a deck that stretches out over the lake. My turn around point. Add that to the list---  one day I'll own a lake house.

I think I've run past these Swans a million times and today was the first time I think I've noticed them..  I do love early morning when no one is out yet and the world seems to be yours...

Stake Conference on Sunday-- an hour drive away, Rheinfelden Switzerland.  A happy text from Jill on a Saturday night, "Want a ride tomorrow?"  The meeting wasn't held in a church but a rented hall so that everyone could be under the same roof.  I like that-- a new Presidency wanted everyone to be gathered in to listen--  A peaceful, quiet hope begins to grow as I listen, leaning in to catch words that I feel are meant just for me.  Leaving with more light--

A quick look at the map and Jill discovers we are just a few minutes to a 1300's Gothic church and covered bridge... We walked from Switzerland to Germany within a covered bridge--
Bad Säckingen, Germany

Love detours and rest stops along the way--
