A Saturday train ride to the temple to meet Jane! I don't know which I was more excited about...spending the day chatting and laughing or hearing English...

Next we were off to Gruyere where we saw a beautiful castle....

A few hours in Fribourg to walk around the old city....

Then back to Bern for dinner in another facinating city wishing the cobble stone streets could talk.. Saving CeeCee Honeycutt-- "I hadn't know any of them at the beginning of the summer, yet every single woman had pressed her fingers against the pages of my Life Book making her own unique, indelible impression. Oysters are a lot like women. It's how we survive the hurts in life that brings us strength and give us our beauty." Jane and I laughed about how funny life is that we are cousins that have lived apart for so many years and now share this experience and reconnect in a land of chocolate, cheese, German, and French. Neither of us would have been able to predict that one! Beautiful day!
