Salzburg

Views from the train---waterfalls, cows, green mountains-- snow topped. Listening to the different languages around me. Often books seem more of a reality than real life and right now I wouldn't be surprised to see Heidi come walking up the mountain side. With books in my bag I can't keep my eyes from the view outside the window-- like the movie version of something I've read or creating my own stories from a seat with a view.. Wordless picture books where I bring the words.. Memorial weekend thinking of those who have passed away that have helped to build the bridges I use to cross. Building new ways of thinking and believing; grateful for the shoulders I stand on to see new views. Steep mountain passes-- places we are taken yolked.. "come unto me" anything is possible. Faith is power to go upward. The rhythm on train always brings quiet moments to help me connect. Maybe it is like the train taking me from one destination to another moves me to connect within.
Salzburg is a beautiful city! Love lock bridge, Fortress on a hill, Sound of Music tour, views, The best apple strudel in Austria, birth place of Mozart, Salt mine, time to sit and breath in a new city --- In these moments the past and the present somehow become one.
